Our Story
Synap is an intelligent learning platform that uses neuroscience and research to help students and professionals learn more in less time. Synap's intelligent personalised learning algorithms work in the background using our Spaced Learning algorithm to make tailored quizzes that only take a few minutes a day; the more often an individual answers a question correctly the less frequently they will see it in their daily practice which means they have to remember information for increasingly long periods. Last year over 10,000 medical students using Synap saw an average 30% increase in their study performance.
Synap is delivering innovative corporate training solutions across a range of industries including financial services, retail and transport. We train employees with short but impactful training sessions. Synap partnered with mytaxi to deliver an innovative solution to train 2,000 new drivers. So far, the mytaxi Manual powered by Synap has increased the pass rate for taxi drivers taking the licensing exam from 10% to 90%.
Started by Dr. James Gupta and Dr. Omair Vaiyani whilst they were in medical school, Synap was a way to help them revise for their own exams and the platform quickly became popular amongst students. After securing investments James and Omair now work on Synap full-time with the rest of the Synap team.
